NACPEX has created a photo illustration to show how Blum/Fairmont's planned condoplex will look

Blum, Fairmont, and Signature Development left out several important visuals from their filing with the Landmarks Preservation Advisory Board (LPAB).  Here is what they would rather not show you.

The proposed condos may lie directly over the Hayward Fault, as this overlay shows

Here is the developer's statement of proposed improvements at the site
Here is the Notice of EIR Preparation for the project, along with a plan drawing of the project
Here is a map of Alquist-Priolo earthquake fault zones in the area surrounding the proposed development
The proposed condo development includes 4 stories above a 2-story garage, all right over an active fault zone!
The hotel and surrounding grounds are protected on the California Register of Historical Resources
The property was found eligible for the National Register of Historic Places for its history and architecture
The Landmarks Preservation Advisory Board Staff Report includes the hotel's designation as an Oakland landmark
The developer submitted architectural drawings for the project on 13Jun16
Similar projects have been proposed by Claremont owners before.  One was to be called Lanai Tower.
TRAFFIC:  Here are vehicle volume statistics on CA13 for 2011, 2013, 2014, and a guide to understand the tables.
CUP:  The CUP for PLN16053 was based on these Sports Complex and Residential Complex plans, submitted 26Feb
Of note in the plans, see here for a street view of the proposed condo complex
See here for an elevation view of the complex, showing the multiple levels, and

Some better quality (but incomplete) drawings were released for the LPAB review.  Those drawings are here.

COMING SOON:

More work to analyze the traffic data and convert the peak traffic counts to travel time
Better-resolution and color scans of the developer plans, including a high-res color elevation of the condoplex
